Wandering, waterfalls and a walled garden.

Recently my Mum and I visited the gardens at Dunvegan Castle in Skye. We were so lucky to have a lovely sunny day, and happily wandered the many paths and crossed the rustic bridges.

Heathers in April.
...and the castle looked great too.

We wandered through the round garden, and admired the monkey puzzle tree...

We crossed some more bridges, and a couple of waterfalls...

... and then we found a lovely sunny spot in the walled garden.Protected from the wind, we sat down for a while, and just soaked up the Spring sunshine.
